Necropolis is a documentary journey through the Mountain of Rests, Jerusalem’s central Jewish cemetery.
As burial space dwindles, vast underground tunnels are carved deep into the mountain, designed to hold over 23,000 new Kosher graves.
The film moves between the cemetery above and the monumental excavation below, revealing a mosaic of voices: burial society workers, Palestinian tunnel diggers, entrepreneurs, curious visitors, and mourners.
As these worlds converge, the film offers a rare glimpse into a culture built around death—practical, ritualistic, and emotional.
Necropolis immerses viewers in the tensions between tradition and innovation, war and peace, sacred duty and daily labor—uncovering how, in Jerusalem, death is not merely an end but a powerful force shaping the world of the living.

אנה הלטה היא ממייסדות סצנת הטכנו הישראלית ודמות מרכזית בקולקטיב ״פקוטק״. עם ניסיון של למעלה משני עשורים מאחורי העמדה בארץ ובעולם, אנה מובילה קו מוזיקלי ייחודי, עמוק ובלתי מתפשר. הסטים שלה הם מסעות סוחפים אל מחוזות הטכנו האיכותי וההיפנוטי, שבהם היא אורגת במיומנות צלילים ותדרים המאתגרים את התודעה ומזמינים להתמסרות מלאה.
נועה ארגוב היא דיג׳יי ושדרנית רדיו מזה יותר מעשור (גל״צ, הקצה), ואורחת קבועה במתחם התדר ובפסטיבלים מובילים. בתקלוטים שלה אפשר לשמוע מגוון רחב של השפעות: ממוזיקה ברזילאית, דרך ג׳אז, פ'אנק וסול, ועד דיסקו, האוס ואלקטרוניקה.
רן סלוין הוא אמן סאונד ואודיו־ויז׳ואל רב תחומי מהמובילים והמוערכים בישראל, בורא עולמות צליל אטמוספריים ומהפנטים החוקרים את הגבולות שבין מציאות, זיכרון ותת־מודע. יצירותיו, המשלבות וידאו, מיצבים ומוזיקה אלקטרונית, זכו להכרה בינלאומית רחבה והוצגו בעשרות פסטיבלים, מוזיאונים וביאנלות ברחבי העולם, ובהם הביאנלה לאמנות בוונציה, טיימס סקוור בניו יורק, ארס אלקטרוניקה בברלין ותערוכות יחיד במוזיאונים מובילים בישראל.
