Given the difficult reality we are facing, this year’s edition of DocuText festival features a carefully curated selection of films that capture nature in all its splendor, beauty, and healing power. We hope these soul-soothing films will help replenish some of your energy reserves.
Inspired by these films, as part of the festival, we will be hosting the exciting final installment in the second season of “Masterful”, our arts and crafts workshop series exploring the treasures kept in the National Library’s collections, organized in partnership with HaMiffal.
Countless flowers are found within the National Library's volumes and collections: in poetry and prose, in decorations and illustrations, in songs and musical compositions, and in academic literature.
We will begin the workshop with a focused visit to the new exhibition “Flowers: Leafing Through the Collections of the National Library,” where we will examine some beautiful drawings from the library’s collections and learn about the historical significance of local flowers from the time of the earliest modern-age settlements in the Land of Israel.
Then, under the guidance of celebrated painter Nomi Bruckmann, we will draw and paint flowers and plants inspired by botanical illustrations, and get to know materials and methods ranging from line drawing to a unique layered color technique.

אנה הלטה היא ממייסדות סצנת הטכנו הישראלית ודמות מרכזית בקולקטיב ״פקוטק״. עם ניסיון של למעלה משני עשורים מאחורי העמדה בארץ ובעולם, אנה מובילה קו מוזיקלי ייחודי, עמוק ובלתי מתפשר. הסטים שלה הם מסעות סוחפים אל מחוזות הטכנו האיכותי וההיפנוטי, שבהם היא אורגת במיומנות צלילים ותדרים המאתגרים את התודעה ומזמינים להתמסרות מלאה.
נועה ארגוב היא דיג׳יי ושדרנית רדיו מזה יותר מעשור (גל״צ, הקצה), ואורחת קבועה במתחם התדר ובפסטיבלים מובילים. בתקלוטים שלה אפשר לשמוע מגוון רחב של השפעות: ממוזיקה ברזילאית, דרך ג׳אז, פ'אנק וסול, ועד דיסקו, האוס ואלקטרוניקה.
רן סלוין הוא אמן סאונד ואודיו־ויז׳ואל רב תחומי מהמובילים והמוערכים בישראל, בורא עולמות צליל אטמוספריים ומהפנטים החוקרים את הגבולות שבין מציאות, זיכרון ותת־מודע. יצירותיו, המשלבות וידאו, מיצבים ומוזיקה אלקטרונית, זכו להכרה בינלאומית רחבה והוצגו בעשרות פסטיבלים, מוזיאונים וביאנלות ברחבי העולם, ובהם הביאנלה לאמנות בוונציה, טיימס סקוור בניו יורק, ארס אלקטרוניקה בברלין ותערוכות יחיד במוזיאונים מובילים בישראל.
