The preparations for the 30th season of the successful investigative journalism television program “Uvda” were already well underway when October 7th came. With it came horror, shock at the colossal failure, grief for the fallen, awe at the heroes—and stories that had been unimaginable until 6:29 on that day, and remain hard to comprehend even now.
The program’s director and editor, Ben Shani and Shani Drori, will discuss the challenges of research and investigative work involved in making documentary television in wartime.
